Loom Knitting

Linda Honour has recently joined the Norfolk Craft Guild and through the colourful and tactile craft of loom knitting, she brings with her many cheerful handmade pieces designed to bring warmth, comfort, and individuality into everyday life.

Working with both round looms and traditional wooden peg looms, she enjoys exploring the creative possibilities of yarn, texture, and colour. Her work is particularly known for its vibrant use of chunky yarns, transforming simple materials into eye-catching items full of personality and charm. Bold colours and soft textures are at the heart of the collection, with each piece carefully handmade to feel both playful and practical.

Alongside hats, Linda is developing a growing range of knitted handbags for both adults and children, focusing on unusual designs that stand apart from the ordinary. Inspired by the freedom that loom knitting offers, she continues to experiment with new shapes, patterns, and ideas, allowing the collection to evolve naturally over time.

Her work also includes cosy pom-pom baby blankets and richly coloured cushions, created to add warmth and character to homes and nurseries alike. Every item reflects a love of handmade craftsmanship and the satisfaction that comes from creating something both useful and uplifting.

As a relatively new craft journey, loom knitting has opened the door to continual learning and creativity. Driven by curiosity and enthusiasm, Linda is constantly expanding her range, embracing new techniques and developing fresh ideas with every project. The result is a collection filled with colour, comfort, and a genuine sense of joy in making.
