Thrown Pottery
Based in the heart of Mid Norfolk, Angela is a talented ceramic artisan pottery maker and has recently joined as a member of the Guild. Working from her pottery studio surrounded by rural landscapes, she creates a distinctive range of wheel-thrown pottery that is both functional and beautiful—designed to be enjoyed and used in everyday life.
Angela’s collection includes thoughtfully crafted pieces such as trinket bowls, candle and tealight holders, large serving bowls, berry bowls, dishes, spoon rests, countertop tea bag tidies, and charming plant holders. Each piece is inspired by nature and the rhythms of everyday living, making them perfect additions to any home.
Angela’s work is known for its natural, earthy tones and textures, often featuring underglaze stencilling, hand-etched markings, and bespoke stamps. Every piece is hand-finished with care, using up to seven layers of glaze applied one at a time—each layer allowed to fully dry before the next is added—creating rich depth and a beautifully tactile surface.
Rooted in a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the natural world, her pottery is a celebration of simplicity, texture, and the rustic beauty of this time aged handmade tradition.
