Lampwork Glass Jewellery
Lana is an artisan crafter of lampwork glass jewellery based at her studio workshop in North Norfolk, having previously qualified and practiced as a Veterinary Nurse. Her journey into jewellery making began in 2010 with upcycled beads, but it was a glass bead making course in 2012 that truly ignited her passion. Since then, she has dedicated herself to the art, science (and artisan craft) of lampworking—transforming molten glass into vibrant, wearable works of radiant colour.
Working with an oxy-propane torch that reaches temperatures of up to 1200°C, she handcrafts each bead with care and precision, layering colours, shaping forms, and adding intricate surface details. The beads are then kiln-annealed at 530°C to ensure lasting strength and durability—a process that can take overnight to complete. Depending on the complexity, a single bead can take up to an hour to create.

Every piece of jewellery begins with these hand-forged glass beads, each one a tiny, luminous sculpture. Her designs often feature bold colours, organic shapes, and playful details, reflecting both the fluid nature of molten glass and her own creative curiosity.
Rooted in craftsmanship and inspired by the endless possibilities of glass, Lana creates distinctive jewellery pieces that are full of life, color, and vibrant personality—each one completely unique and made to be treasured.
