Working in clay, Jayne creates hand-built and wheel-thrown ceramic sculptures inspired by a deep love of nature and storytelling. Through humour, warmth and character, each piece celebrates creatures great and small, capturing the charm and personality of the whimsical beings that quietly inhabit the world around us.
Ceramics became a second career for Jayne in 2012, when she began both sculpting and teaching. Since then, a distinctive body of work has evolved – playful yet skilfully crafted, balancing imagination with a strong connection to the natural world.
Whether sculpting curious birds, expressive animals or enchanting figures, each creation invites the viewer to pause, smile and engage with its story.
