Dawn is the artisan maker behind a collection of handcrafted, mostly animal-themed ornamental features designed especially for outdoor spaces.
Inspired by the natural world and the wildlife that surrounds us, she creates hanging decorative pieces that bring a touch of character and charm to gardens, patios, and outdoor corners. Each design starts with a sketch — usually an animal or nature-inspired motif — which is then plasma cut out of steel sheet.
Dawn works exclusively with mild steel for its raw, earthy quality and durability. Depending on preferred style, the finished piece can be left untreated to gradually develop a rustic patina style as it weathers naturally, or you can choose to finish it with your own paint for a personal touch.
Dawn also offers a painted finish in classic black using high-quality exterior-grade paint for a timeless look, or a range of hand painted designs in vibrant colours, and sometimes using an oxy acetylene torch, Dawn creates a very striking iridescent finish.
